Job Role :

Senior Test Manager – Data Integration & Automation (Financial Services)

Job Location :   Farmington Hills, MI or Auburn Hills MI – Hybrid

Position Overview

The   Test Manager   will   facilitate communication   across teams within our IT organization, providing   aggregated testing reports   to   senior management . This role   oversees data integration testing   for   CSV file extracts   processed through   AWS RDS databases , ensuring   quality across downstream systems . The   Test Manager   serves as an   escalation point   for the testing teams and ensures   testing activities align with project timelines and quality standards .

Requirements – Senior Level :

8+ years of formal testing experience, with at least 5 years in a test management capacity

  • Strong leadership and

communication skills,  with experience guiding cross-functional testing teams

  • Ability to  develop and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and methodologies  for  data-intensive projects
  • Data Integration Testing :   Experience with file extracts (CSV), ETL processes, and database validation,  particularly in AWS RDS environments.
  • Test automation frameworks expertise  for both  UI and API testing  ( Selenium, Cucumber, Postman )
  • Experience authoring test cases in Gherkin format  and implementing  BDD testing approaches
  • Testing Web Services  ( REST / SOAP ) and working with  XML / JSON data formats  using tools such as  Postman and Swagger
  • Project management and test case management tools :   JIRA, Qtest
  • Experience tracking testing metrics , generating  comprehensive reports , and presenting  testing status to stakeholders
  • Experience  coordinating testing activities  with  multiple downstream teams and systems
  • Understanding of  automated configuration management, build processes, and requirements management tools
  • Strong troubleshooting skills , with ability to analyze and resolve  complex data integration issues
  • Experience  establishing standards and guidelines for automation tool selection and implementation
