Principal Full Stack Engineer Opportunity
Join a Mission-Driven, Well-Funded Medtech and Life Sciences Startup Arm of a Public Company
Are you an experienced full-stack engineer with expertise in gRPC, Go, and a drive to create transformative healthcare technology?
If so, this might be worth reading on to at the the "what's in it for you" section.
GC holders and US citizens currently based in the US who have worked in a fullstack role for a health-tech / telehealth / biotech startup, please don't be put off by the number of applications, as 95% of them won't be relevant (or even be based in the US) and you'd really make my day to see your application, it won't get lost in the noise and I will reach out to you.
Role Overview
This is a full-stack engineering role for a senior software engineer who can straddle both frontend and backend development, with a focus on cross-platform work.
You’ll develop sophisticated healthcare applications using a tech stack that includes Flutter for the front end and Go for the backend, with support from Python and iOS native APIs.
Familiarity with C++ is a major plus, as it will enhance your ability to work across systems and optimize performance.
Your work will go beyond traditional full-stack development, requiring expertise in building secure, high-performance applications that meet the strict requirements of healthcare, including HIPAA compliance and integration with electronic medical records (EMR).
While this isn’t a classic IoT role, it involves some IoT-like elements as you’ll work with computer vision models for medical imaging , processing real-world data from devices like cameras and medical imaging tools.
This means handling high-efficiency data processing, image analysis, and potentially even device integration skills often found in IoT, applied here to the healthcare setting.
It’s full-stack development for a specialized, high-stakes environment where privacy, precision, and performance are critical.
Why This Role?
Mission-Driven Work : As the Principal Full Stack Engineer, you’ll lead the development of medical imaging and machine vision applications designed to advance wound care and patient outcomes.
Your work will involve building secure, HIPAA-compliant applications that integrate seamlessly with electronic medical records and improve provider-patient interactions.
