We are delighted to announce that we're working with a fantastic school district in Santa Fe, NM to hire a Special Education Teacher for the uping school year.
This position is full time and onsite, within a preschool classroom.
Responsibilities
- Assess students' skills and determine their educational needs
- Adapt general lessons to meet students' needs
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
- Implement IEPs, updating them based on student performance
- Work collaboratively with other members of the special education team to ensure the best possible results for each student
Licenses & Certifications
- SCG3 (Early Childhood Education - Self Container General Education Birth through Grade 3)or EARL (Early Childhood Birth through Grade 3)
- ECT (Early childhood Special Education Approval)
- ESL (Teacher of English as a Second Language)
