The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, and ultimately retiring much of our current infrastructure, while helping us write the book as we move toward a SAAS Cloud first approach customer enablement strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs) to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cybersecurity threats.
  • Messaging and Collaboration : Maintaining our Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments for Email, GoTo and RingCentral for voice, Teams rooms, etc.
  • Proactive Level 1 Support, handling IT service tickets or escalating as appropriate. Maintaining a pattern of excellent communication and service to our internal customers.
  • Support and Monitor user endpoints both in offices and remote

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud Services (Azure, M365, Intune, Engage)
  • Support Backup, Recovery of IaaS platforms and Microsoft 365 Cloud Services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server 2012-2019
  • Linux / UNIX System Administration a plus, including installation and configuration, Scripting, and Networking (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.)
  • Active Directory Domain Services + Azure Active Directory + ADFS
  • Working knowledge of Cisco switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Knowledge of MFA including Microsoft 365 MFA and Duo
  • VMware vSphere infrastructure and ESXi hypervisor administration (Decommissioning)
  • Citrix XenApp Administration (Decommissioning)
  • Citrix NetScaler Administration (Decommissioning)
  • Working knowledge of Apache and Tomcat web server maintenance (Decommissioning)
  • Basic knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce, Google Workspace preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully analyze requirements, design, develop, document and implement solutions.
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years industry experience
  • Strong verbal, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
