Project Manager responsibilities include working closely with our engineering team to prepare documentation and comprehensive action plans including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. This role will also perform various coordinating tasks like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties like maintaining notes / meeting minutes, managing logistics, scheduling meetings, serving as a liaison between Cloudforce staff and various stakeholders, following up with contributing vendors, etc. Ultimately, the Project Manager's duties are to ensure that all projects overseen are completed on time, within budget, and meet Cloudforce's high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekly cadence of necessary project reporting, including status, metrics, milestones, risks, and other considerations.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Oversee detailed task management activities utilizing Cloudforce's project management tool, ClickUp.
- Maintain documentation repository for internal PMO and for client-facing artifacts.
- Create and update documentation in support of the PMO and project, or as assigned based on needs of the client or team.
- Assist technical staff to break down projects into manageable actions and clear timeframes.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define scope, requirements, objectives, and details.
- Ensure client needs are met as projects evolve, and that documentation and plans are reflective of this evolution.
- Analyze and communicate risks and opportunities as they are observed.
- Monitor project progress and critical path, addressing issues as they arise.
- Monitor internal resource hours actuals versus expected and provide burndown status to necessary stakeholders.
- Act as Cloudforce's central point of contact for the client.
- Serve as an onsite presence for key client meetings (in and around the DC-Metro area).
- Use project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, to monitor schedules, tasks, dependencies, and resources.
- Create and maintain project risk registers.
- Ensure standards, requirements, and deliverables are met through conducting quality assurance checks.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
At least two years of experience managing projects.Exceptional and highly professional communication ability both verbal and written as this role will be interfacing with key client stakeholders, internal technical delivery teams and subcontractors, representing Cloudforce.An ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision.Exceptional organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.Strong client-facing customer service and collaboration skills.An ability to serve as a liaison, onsite presence, and facilitator for Cloudforce.Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (such as ClickUp, Trello, MS Project, Planner, Airtable, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience working with technical teams and subject matter experts.Knowledge of industry-standard project management fundamentals and terminology (CAPM, PMP, or similar coursework).
