Perform tasks involving physical labor at different job sites including convenience stores, our bulk plant, customer residences, and many other locations.
May operate hand and power tools of all types. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, clean up rubble and debris, and may occasionally be working with hazardous materials.
You will be working with other employees, so communication is a must. The purpose of this job description is to give new employees an overview of what is expected of a General Laborer at Jernigan Oil Company, Inc.

Requirements :
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be willing and able to work outside for long period of time in both hot and cold weather.
- Hand-eye coordination
- Physical Endurance
- Must possess communication skills
- Experience with power tools
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Painting Experience
Job Duties :
- Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection.
- Painting the interiors and exteriors of convenience stores, on propane tanks, and at various other locations
- Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement.
- Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
- Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters, plasterers, and masons.
- Clean up work sites
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Operate forklift, mowers and material breakers
- Assist in construction or demolishing of buildings
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager Benefits :
