Job Description

Position Summary :

As part of the ITW Residential & Renovation Marketing team, the Marketing Intern will help execute the marketing plans and tactics to acquire and engage our end users and support retail channel marketing initiatives with the Home Centers, Lumberyards, dealers, and distributors.

The scope of responsibilities is broad and may include involvement in customer input and analyzing market data to support new product development and developing material for product launches.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Review current product offerings and recommend opportunities to simplify the product line
  • Assist with segment market research
  • Support new product market launches
  • Develop marketing materials for customer and end user support
  • Create email marketing content and conduct analysis
  • Perform website content updates

Expected Learnings :

  • Understand the New Product Development Process (launch to commercialization)
  • Competitive benchmarking and tracking (product, pricing, promotions, etc.)
  • How to work in a collaborative cross-functional team
  • Exposure to the execution of digital marketing campaigns
  • Strengthen project management skills by creating timelines, setting milestones, measuring progress, and reporting on findings.
  • Development and demonstration of strategic thinking through influencing key stakeholders on learnings, implications and suggested next steps
  • Business acumen enhancement by exposure to a customer backed approach to business, and an overall big picture understanding of the business and its interrelationships

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

  • Rising Senior (graduating 2026) pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing Engineering or related field
  • Tech savvy, detail-oriented, with superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and graphs; Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic personality
