- Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse - Critical Care Job Specialty : Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day (6 : 45am - 7 : 15pm) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Experience with direct patient care preferred License : Registered Nurse (Single State) or Multi-state Compact Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have : - Diploma from an accredited nursing program required - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills - Basic computer skills - Strong critical thinking and time management abilities Job Description : - Proactively work as a member of an interdisciplinary team ensuring high quality, safe patient care.
- Execute the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Deliver patient-centered care, considering the population-specific characteristics like age, gender, and disease with cultural sensitivity.
- Partner with patients and their families for goal-oriented care setting and teaching. - Adhere to current clinical practice standards and ensure that care is delivered and documented effectively.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment. - Participate in performance improvement and shared governance.
- Mentor other nurses and contribute to the training of staff and students. - Promote evidence-based practice and participate in nursing research and performance improvement efforts.
