Responsibilities
- Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living
- Provide Personal Care Services including Bathing and Toileting Assistance, Transfers, Mobility, Dressing and Grooming
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to help maintain comfortable and healthy living conditions
- Provide companionship services to reduce senior isolation
- Provide medication reminders
- Plan, prepare and serve meals
- Complete client's shopping or accompany them to do so successfully
- Transport client to and from appointments
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency
Qualifications
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Dependable to complete all assigned shifts
Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
Supportive and compassionate
High School Diploma or equivalent
