Teacher's Assistant- Wirtzie's Child Development Program
Location : Surprise, AZ $15.68 ph
Available shifts :
Note : Staffing is based on several children in attendance so could be asked to leave early or to stay later based on those needs.
- 6 : 30 am-3 : 30 pm Monday through Friday
- 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm Monday through Friday
- Classroom Floater Tues 9am-6pm plus Friday 8am-4 : 30pm
- On-Call / As Needed (Requires availability to work any shifts between 6 : 30am to 6 : 00pm) Monday through Friday.
What will you be doing?
Work in coordination with Lead Teacher to present developmentally appropriate activities which will assist each child in developing to their fullest potential and to support and respect the family diversity of each child.
Provide a safe, warm, nurturing environment in which each individual child can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
May be assigned to work in a variety of classrooms enriching the lives of children between the ages of 0 to 5 (infant to pre-k)
What qualifications do you need?
- Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Peoria / Sun City / Surprise, AZ area before starting work. (No Relocation Assistance)
- Pursuing or have received HS Diploma / GED Equivalent
- Prefer 1 year experience teaching in early care & education classroom
- Will consider life experience gained through volunteering in weekend nurseries / classes, a sitter / nanny.
- Possess or able to receive *Fingerprint Clearance Card, *CPR, *Negative TB / Chest X-Ray, *Article 9 Certification *Food Handler’s Certification (*Benevilla will assist with the costs to obtain)
