Job Summary

The Senior Innovation Analytics Manager will handle efforts to create solutions using advanced data, analytics and reporting technology to help the firm and its clients.

The Senior Innovation Analytics Manager will drive adoption by coming up with ideas, designing, making prototypes, and developing solution using data visualization, AI / ML, and similar tools.

The Senior Innovation Analytics Manager will have a mix of skills, including those of a product designer, project manager, consultant, champion of innovation, and low code developer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the delivery of prototype solutions that enhance business objectives through data visualization, AI / ML, and related technologies, in collaboration with the Strategic Innovation Analytics Lead.
  • Partnering with attorneys and other professionals across the firm to develop and deploy innovative tech solutions focused on value, cost-effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and predictability.
  • Conducting advanced data analysis for internal and external stakeholders, and presenting findings in an accessible manner.
  • Serving as an expert on data and analytics solutions, guiding on their application and differentiation within the firm.
  • Leading innovation projects aligned with strategic goals, including scope definition, prioritization, and execution, ensuring effective change management and process documentation.
  • Developing business cases for the adoption or licensing of legal tech solutions, assessing their ROI.
  • Providing responsive and scalable information support to attorneys and firm professionals.
  • Monitoring trends in legal innovation to inform and support the business case for innovation initiatives.
  • Establishing success criteria for new initiatives, ensuring compliance with firm standards and best practices in technology management.
  • Engaging in all phases of project management, from analysis to support, fostering strong relationships across the firm, and clarifying technical concepts in understandable terms.
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as needed to achieve firm objectives.

Qualifications

Requirements :

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including innovating and integrating systems where no clear solution exists.
  • Independent project management with a knack for knowing when to seek guidance.
  • Strategic and holistic thinking with a focus on scalable solutions across the organization.
  • Knowledge of legal technology such as document assembly, robotic process automation, AI, machine learning, and predictive coding.

Quick learner for new software programs and tools.

Expertise in relational database management (e.g., SQL server, Azure Synapse / Fabric) and user experience design, including data visualization (e.

g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Teams, Power Automate, Visio, OneDrive, and Power BI, with Microsoft certifications favored.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL / ELT, and security (RLS / OLS). - Innovative mindset capable of turning ideas into solutions and integrating varied tools.
  • Proficient in design thinking for effective problem-solving.
  • Strong business analysis and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on exceeding client expectations and guiding team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to diverse audiences. Requires sound judgment with respect to confidential and sensitive information.
  • Superior organizational and time management abilities, with adeptness at setting priorities and solving problems under pressure.

Education

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and / or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job, preferably in a law firm, corporate legal department, or other legal services provider environment.

Experience

The position requires a minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible, directly related experience during which knowledge, skills, and abilities applicable to the position were demonstrated, preferably (in part) in a professional services environment.

In particular, experience should include business low-code projects, data visualization, solution design, consulting and / or client-facing roles.

Experience with legal innovation practices preferred.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The pay range for this position is $120,000 $160,000 .

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. Other benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave.

The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
