About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x11.5 Days, 7a - 7p with call as necessary Guaranteed Hours : 34.
5 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Not required to submit Certifications : BLS- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA- COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have : COVID and Flu Vaccine (no exemptions allowed) Job Description : Work in an acute care setting within the operating room.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system.- Participate in a 12-hour orientation.- Support the surgical team with necessary surgical technology skills.
- Maintain a sterile environment for procedures.- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.- Adhere to the protocols and safety standards of the healthcare facility.
- Perform tasks efficiently within the requirements of the shift schedule.- Communicate effectively with the OR team to ensure optimal patient care.
