Office hours : Monday mornings, 8 : 00 AM to 2 : 00P.M.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills are a must. Ability to modify and prepare power point lectures.
- Requires excellent communication skills to work with patients and families, billing companies, hospital and nursing home staff, other medical offices, medicare and other insurance companies.
- Ability to discuss payment issues with patients.
- Able to work around patients with catastrophic injuries. Patience and compassion are necessary.
Responsibilities :
- Answer phones and maintain surgeon’s schedule
- Schedule surgeries
- Schedule patients for office hours, maintain medical records while adhering to strict privacy standards.
- Upload patient billing information to billing company
- Maintain frequent communication with billing company to obtain and supply data as necessary to expedite billing issues.
Other tasks as needed
Interviews will be in person.
