OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

Operate heavy equipment with the highest priority of achieving accuracy

DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to operate heavy equipment proficiently and with minimal supervision once trained

Daily inspection of equipment

Must be mechanically inclined & inspect and maintain equipment schedule

Must be safety conscious in all conditions

Communicate with operators or supervisors to ensure production runs smoothly

Wear P.P.E. as required

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Class A Drivers license with good driving record, complete inspections, logs, and fuel reports

Ability to make decisions in difficult conditions

Mobilization from job to job with complete inspections, logs, and fuel reports

Knowledge of DOT regulations

Knowledge of job-specific safety practices

Proficient reading comprehension for technical documents, such as safety regulations, assembly, and

maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Keen eye to identify non-compliance with regulations or standards, and the ability to suggest solutions for

deficiencies or problems

REQUIREMENTS

2 years of pavement marking experience

A valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a safe driving record

U.S. Work Authorization

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds

Ability to work overnight if the project necessitates

Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain and dusty environments Must be able to pass drug screening Must be able to stand on concrete for long periods of time Ability to climb or crawl on equipment often and be able to get under equipment to work on it PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Two plus years experience in a construction field
