The HVAC Commercial Service Manager leads staff members who repair and maintain heating and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings.
This manager routinely works directly with Field Supervisors, Service Technicians, CSR / Dispatch personnel and other managers to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting departmental goals and objectives.
Presenting themself as a senior company representative, the Commercial Service Manager often communicates directly with customers, vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate communication of job or project status and requirements.

Responsibilities :
- Schedules, directs and provides technical support of an advanced level as required to meet service demands and customers' expectations
- Works with Field Supervisors to recruit, interview, hire and train Commercial HVAC Technicians as required to meet workload demands, and company or customer expectations and requirements
- Willingness to travel to both Kingman AZ and Las Vegas NV
- Able and willing to split time between being hands on in the field and office responsibilities
- Analyzes department efficiency and productivity and makes necessary procedural adjustments to accomplish departmental goals
- Establishes and maintains a regular training program to ensure Commercial HVAC technicians are properly trained on latest service techniques and safety procures for safety equipment and general working conditions
- Communicates regularly with dispatch to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency, and training requirements
- Develops and monitors budgets, goals, and objectives to insure departmental profitability
- Ensures that all company policies, procedures, and SOP's are being followed by Department staff
- Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports
- Work with other departmental managers to meet company and departmental goals and objectives
- Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- 10 + years experience in commercial HVAC with at least 5 years in a management role
- Some post high school education from college, trade school or military
- Exhibit an in-depth knowledge and understanding off HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and an ability to use resources at hand to find solutions
- Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
- God computer skills : knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general software navigation
- Possess a strong personal desire for improvement; and the desire to motivate HVAC technicians to be better tomorrow than they are today
- Have a clean, neat, professional appearance; a top performer who can instill pride in workmanship in themselves and others
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to work non-standard schedule; nights, weekend, and holidays as / if required
