Accounting Supervisor
One of our Manufacturing clients in Irving, TX is seeking an Accounting Supervisor with over 6 years of experience. The successful candidate will lead a team of accountants and manage responsibilities such as lease accounting, financial statement reporting and analysis, consolidation, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other ad-hoc tasks.
You will assist in guiding the team through month-end closings, reconciliations, and audit processes. Expertise in US GAAP and ASC 842 is required, and a Bachelor's degree is necessary.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee lease accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, reconciliations, journal entries, and special projects.
- Lead month-end closings, reconciliations, and audits.
- Provide financial statement analysis.
Required Skills :
- Experience in financial statement analysis.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation skills, and proactive issue resolution.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Access.
Preferred Qualifications :
- CPA certification.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience with SAP GL and SAP BPC.
