The key areas of responsibility of the Business Development Manager- IX Americas Southwest / must live in either of these statesTEXAS, LA, AR, Oklahoma.

is to work with Regional Sales Managers, to develop & grow existing, accounts that have a substantial and potentially multi-national footprint.

Exploring and developing new accounts while assisting end users and consultants in the territory to introduce our channel and distribution partners is also part of this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with RSM’s responsible for territory(s) to develop additional opportunities, customer relationships, demo product, and generate sales.
  • Manage processes for creating quotes, managing sales cycle in CRM, developing, and negotiating proposals, and commercial agreements.

Likewise, track business opportunities and performance of the sales funnel in addition to providing regular forecasting, market intelligence and competitive analysis to Sales Management, Segment marketing and product management.

  • Define and onboard new resellers for Barco in the market. Act as SPOC for those new Partners, co-devise a business plan including performance targets and investment plan as well as review performance during QBRs.
  • Onboard / activate existing Barco resellers as per target plan and collaborate with the existing Barco sales colleagues.
  • Support Channel Partners and Distributors with technical / sales expertise on the Barco range aiding specification of our products.
  • Support lead generation via Shows / Demonstrations / sales floor engagement etc.
  • Manage process of lead distribution to Channel Partners.
  • Market the company, ensuring that the organization receives positive exposure to enhance the brand image in the region.
  • Keep up-to-date all sales opportunities in the company's CRM system.

Education :

Bachelor’s or master’s degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience :

  • 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Proven sales affinity in related industry / technologies.
  • Strong and assured communicating and presenting skills, able to gain personal credibility with client managers.
  • Able to work effectively work across organizational and national boundaries.
  • Eager to hunt new end customers and / or new contacts at different levels of the targeted account.
  • High level sales negotiating skills with outstanding relationship building abilities.

Salary Range $70k - k + commission
