Senior Finance Consultant

This is a high-impact, fully remote role where you'll collaborate with consulting leaders and client stakeholders to evaluate market options and guide the replacement of legacy Financial platforms.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Collaborate with consulting leaders to run a structured package selection process for financial systems

Provide expert financial guidance to ensure all due diligence requirements are met, especially for specialized business needs

Assess and compare market solutions for suitability, functionality, and compliance with organizational requirements

Identify gaps in proposed solutions and recommend additional options where necessary

Support stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering, ensuring unique needs are addressed

Prepare and present findings to client leadership

Advise on best practices for financial system implementation and integration

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

10+ years of experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role within a finance department

Demonstrated expertise in financial system selection, implementation, or transformation projects

Strong understanding of specialized operations and requirements within financial services

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Experience working with cross-functional teams and external consultants

Bonus Points If You Have

Prior experience with financial platforms such as Sbase, Datarails, or similar

Consulting experience or exposure to package selection methodologies

Experience presenting to executive leadership and guiding strategic decisions

Education & Certifications You Need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Advanced degree (MBA, MAcc) preferred
