Overview
Investment advisor located in SF Bay Area, CA is seeking a performance reporting associate. The firm was founded in 2019 by the investment professionals in the Silicon Valley.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of direct experience working with investment portfolio reporting and analysis.
This role will work cross functionally with internal stakeholders, including partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Creates and produces recurring performance reports for internal and external purposes
- Conducts benchmark and comparative analysis on portfolio, asset class, strategy, fund, and investment-level returns, volatility, attribution, and exposure analysis using portfolio analytics software (Caissa) and Microsoft Excel
- Maintains current and historical documentation related to portfolio exposures, returns, and benchmarks
- Coordinates with service providers to ensure the integrity and accuracy of entries made into the portfolio analytics, custody and accounting systems
- Monitors investment-level performance estimates and valuations conducted by third parties
- Designs and performs cash flow projections, liquidity analytics, private exposure modeling, and portfolio stress-testing
- Leads data collecting and management efforts for risk and asset allocation, and capital planning data
- Supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of data systems; Advances the application of modern tools, and software to provide best-in-class performance reporting and risk measurement and analysis
- Prepares exhibits for use in presentations and other investor communications
- Completes ad hoc reporting and special projects as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience working with investment portfolio reporting and analysis
- Ability to work cross functionally with internal stakeholders including partners
- Solid analytical skills and the ability to understand and track performance data from a variety of asset classes
- Experience in creating materials for investor meetings, investigating performance anomalies and system implementation or innovation (using a performance software)
- Ability to handle pressure and deadlines
- Top-notch communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
