About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10 Hour Days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral experience License : Required - RT or equivalent or RCIS Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : - Epic charting system experience (Epic Cupid preferred) - Competency with devices like IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and Penumbra - Ability to perform table movement (panning) - Strong arrhythmia recognition and treatment skills - Critical patient assessment skills Job Description : - Work in a facility with 2 Cath labs and 2 Hybrid peripheral / OR - Provide care for patients with conditions such as coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and more - No floating to IR, departments are separate - Participate in a weekend rotation every 4th weekend - On-call duties 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend - Utilize critical patient assessment skills and perform procedures like Impella and LVAD insertions - Orientation period of 4 days with 10-hour shifts - Collaborate with a charge nurse available M-F from 0600-1630 Note : Scrub colors are provided and weekend / holiday expectations will be discussed with management.
