Job Title : Warehouse Associate
Position Type : Full time
Hourly Rate : $19.00
Schedule : Monday to Thursday, 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm (10-hour shifts)
Job Description :
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is a Temp to Perm role with an initial period of 90 days.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials.
Key Responsibilities :
- Material Handling : Safely and efficiently load, unload, move, and store materials.
- Inventory Management : Assist in inventory control by accurately recording materials received and distributed.
- Order Fulfillment : Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
- Equipment Operation : Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe manner.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control : Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Housekeeping : Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Skills : Ability to operate warehouse equipment; basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Team Player : Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
