Project manager is a professional tasked with planning, executing, and concluding projects.

Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join Get Glow LLC, a well-established and constantly growing. We are seeking a well-organized, ambitious individual with project management experience to join our team.

This Project Manager position will allow you to grow your career along with the company, with the prospect of promotions to key positions within the company once you have proven yourself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning : Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, deliverables, and scope. Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes timelines, tasks, resource requirements, and budget allocation.
  • Team Management : Assemble a project team, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.

Provide guidance, support, and motivation to keep the team focused and productive.

Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Regularly assess project risks and implement contingency plans when necessary.

Monitor and manage project issues, resolving conflicts and obstacles that arise during the project lifecycle.

  • Budget and Resource Management : Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources. Track project expenditures, monitor financial performance, and make adjustments as needed to ensure project cost-effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management : Identify project stakeholders and their interests. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring regular communication, managing expectations, and addressing concerns and feedback.
  • Scope and Change Management : Define and manage project scope, ensuring that all requirements and deliverables are clearly documented and understood.

Evaluate and manage change requests, assessing their impact on the project and implementing appropriate change control procedures.

Quality Assurance : Develop and implement quality management processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards.

Conduct regular quality assessments, perform reviews, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Communication and Reporting : Establish effective communication channels with project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.

Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations, highlighting progress, issues, and achievements.

Project Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.

Ensure that project documentation is accessible and properly organized for future reference.

Continuous Improvement : Evaluate project performance, identify lessons learned, and implement improvements for future projects.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project team by encouraging feedback, learning, and knowledge sharing.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience with residential rehab projects, including cosmetic upgrades, minor structural repairs, and mechanical system updates.
  • Knowledge of the local market in Madison, Wisconsin, including subcontractor networks and permitting processes.
  • Experience in cost estimation and budget management for rehab projects.
  • Associates degree or commensurate work experience in a project management support role.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in the industry.
  • 2+ years of experience handling a wide range of administrative and project support related tasks.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with industry-specific software.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
