Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Administer conscious sedation, monitor hemodynamics, and manage vented and critical care patients
- Recover pediatric and adult patients in Phase 1 anesthesia
- Use and access central venous devices
Experience Requirements :
- Provide peri-procedural nursing care for outpatients and inpatients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures
- Administer conscious sedation, monitor hemodynamics, and manage vented and critical care patients
- Recover pediatric and adult patients in Phase 1 anesthesia
- Use and assess central venous devices
Desired Skills / Abilities :
Critical Care experience with ACLS and / or PALS, with pediatric experience preferred
Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- 1-3 years of clinical RN experience, with at least 1 year of Telemetry or ICU experience
- Ability to improve job performance through continuing education
- Knowledge of quality concepts and principles
