- Orientation Hours : 16- Hospital Type : 483 Bed Main Campus, 124 Bed North Campus- Role involves working in the Labor Pool for the Med Surg unit.
- Charge Nurse available in all units.- Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1 : 6.- Nurse Aides / OB tech ratio : Generally 1 : 8, can extend to 1 : 10.
- Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend.- Call Requirement : On-call with low census.- Holidays : Rotated with Permanent Staff.
- Uniform : Caribbean Blue Scrubs.- Telemetry : Monitored on different units.- Utilize BIPAP, CPAP, only during HS, Vapotherm, Draegar for ventilations.
- OB / Neonatologist available in-house.- No dedicated IV team; PICCRT available 24 / 7.- 24 / 7 Pharmacy support.- Shift Hours : Starts at 0645 for 12-hour shifts.
- No C-section experience required.- Floating required across units including Ortho / Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and others.
- Floor-specific orientation is provided.- Familiarity with Charting System : MEDITECH - 6.1.- Trauma Level Care Setting : Acute Division Nursing.
- Common diagnoses include a variety of patient conditions.- Flexibility required with changing assignments during shifts.
- Situated in a city with a population of 80,000.- Offers proximity to nearby major cities and beaches.- Cancellation Policy : 12 hours every two weeks.
