HiFyve is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Manager in the Dairy Manufacturing industry in Northeast Nebraska!
Salary : Up to $175k / year
Shift : Full-Time
Location : Northeast Nebraska (Relocation Offered)
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead and implement the companys Quality Assurance Program, ensuring compliance with established policies and accuracy in data management.
- Develop and enforce quality specifications for finished products, in-process testing, and raw materials, ensuring adherence by production personnel.
- Supervise, recruit, and train QA personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining high performance standards.
- Manage the laboratory budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities while improving product margins.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, representing the company professionally on quality matters with vendors and customers.
- Conduct internal, vendor, and contract manufacturing audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory policies.
- Stay updated on production methods, analytical techniques, and federal regulations, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Oversee the proper cleaning of production equipment and storage areas, conducting sanitation audits, and ensuring compliance with pest control standards.
Education Requirements :
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Life Science or related area
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- 7+ years of QA management experience in Dairy Manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO)
- Expertise in laboratory testing procedures and computer software applications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and supervisory skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
