The Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy invites applications a two full-time tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or similar academic training in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, pharmaceutical health services research or related fields.
Appointment requires demonstration of or potential for an extramurally-funded research program, scholarship, and teaching proficiency that are consistent with appointment to these ranks at a research-intensive university.
The successful candidate will join one of the largest departments in pharmaceutical outcomes and policy fields in the country, and engage in productive interdisciplinary research, provide high-quality teaching in the College’s professional and graduate programs, and participate in service activities at various levels.
The UF College of Pharmacy ranks among the top five colleges of pharmacy in the nation and is located at the main Gainesville campus of the University of Florida, the flagship AAU institution of the State of Florida.
The College is based in one of the largest integrated academic health centers in the country, with Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Public Health and Health Professions, and Veterinary Medicine, as well as UF Health and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, situated on a campus serving over , students.
The growing consists of tenured and tenure-track faculty. It has a well-recognized residential graduate program with + residential PhD and MS students and a growing with + students.
The department’s research infrastructure is supported by the Center for Drug Evaluation and Safety (), which facilitates research collaborations in real-world populations using a variety of big data sources.
