Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of large-scale ETL / ELT pipelines and data lakes
- Architect and maintain reliable and scalable data infrastructure using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs
- Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices
- Optimize data systems for performance and cost efficiency
- Mentor and guide a team of data engineers
- Develop and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Manage and automate data workflows using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar
