Overview
Job title : Construction Estimator. Company : Lichty Building Group Inc. Location : Newnan, GA. Salary : $85,000 - $100,000 per year (DOE) + potential for bonuses. Employment Type : Full-Time | Monday - Friday. Industry : Residential Construction / Remodeling.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural plans, design concepts, and scopes of work to develop accurate cost estimates
- Conduct site visits to gather field data and verify conditions
- Perform detailed take-offs for materials, labor, and subcontractor work
- Solicit bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers
- Collaborate with internal teams (designers, project managers, owner) to finalize proposals
- Provide value engineering options when needed to meet client budgets
- Maintain and regularly update cost databases and subcontractor lists
- Participate in project hand-offs to the production team
- Analyze actual project costs against estimates to refine future bids
