Position Overview
Bryan Physician Network, a division of Bryan Health, is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified OBGYN Laborist to join our obstetrics and gynecology team. This position involves working a rotating two-week schedule with nocturnal and weekend shifts to provide comprehensive obstetric care and emergency services.
Schedule Requirements
Week 1 :
- Three (3) 14-hour nocturnal shifts
Week 2 :
One (1) 24-hour weekend shiftOne (1) 14-hour nocturnal shiftThis two-week schedule pattern repeats continuously
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive obstetric care including labor and delivery managementPerform emergency cesarean sections and other urgent obstetric proceduresManage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric complicationsProvide consultation services to emergency department for obstetric and gynecologic emergenciesCollaborate with nursing staff, anesthesia, and other medical specialistsMaintain accurate medical records and documentationParticipate in quality improvement initiativesProvide patient and family education and counselingRespond to obstetric emergencies and trauma casesSupport resident and medical student education when applicableAdvanced Clinical Capabilities

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degreeBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and GynecologyValid medical license in Nebraska (or ability to obtain)DEA registrationACLS and NRP certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Completion of accredited OBGYN residency programAbility to work extended shifts including overnight and weekend hoursStrong clinical decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompensation & Benefits Package
