Main tasks include : Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator

Has responsibility and accountability for the management and direction of the financial and business activities of Perioperative Services.

Monitors expenditures and revenue to ensure compliance with departmental financial goals. Provides direction to the operational personnel of Perioperative Services material management and assists with data collection both clinically and financially for Value Based Analysis Committee.

Overall responsibility and accountability for improving the quality and efficiency of supply inventory, order, receipt, distribution and stocking, inputting charges and the satisfaction of internal and external customers.

Ensures integration of the OR Supply Chain with information systems, distributors, vendors and other hospital departments.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• BS / BSN preferred
• Experience supporting a surgical department including patient record maintenance, communication with perioperative unit for record issue, and troubleshooting.
• OR experience preferred
• Must have basic hardware, software, and networking skills, and should also have knowledge of all current Microsoft Operating Systems and Office products.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities.
