Job Description & Requirements

Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)

StartDate : 10 / 7 / 2024 Available Shifts : 10 D Pay Rate : $1966.46 - $2265.71

Ultrasound Tech needed asapShift : 4x10's Tue - Fri 7-5 : 30 On-Call required : yes Includes calls after hours and weekends.

Credentials required : RDMS or ARRT Specific unit requirements : BLS, Registered, and NM License 2 years experienceFloat to other units : noThe Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and / or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.

Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.

Required Qualifications

Credentials required : RDMS or ARRT

Specific unit requirements : BLS, Registered, and NM License

The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and / or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
