Job Description :
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 main beds, and additional EP and Hybrid labs.
- Handle 10-25 cases per day, primarily circulating roles, no scrubbing.
- Utilize Cerner and Xper charting systems.
- Collaborate with charge nurses and radiology techs who are certified in BLS and scrub capabilities.
- Provide coverage for Endo and CVOR as needed.
- Work four weekend shifts per four-week schedule and rotate holidays.
- Wear provided scrub colors.
- Employ Phillips tele equipment and Siemens equipment for procedures.
- Respond within 30-minute call time for varying 6-10 shifts per schedule.
- Undergo 12 hours of orientation and 2 days of floor-specific orientation.
- Typical patient cases include interventional, EP lab, peripherals, cardiology and vascular cases, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP, and emtala placement.
- Enjoy support from a 24 / 7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy team.
- Work primarily Monday to Friday, 6 am to 6 : 30 pm.
- Be prepared for the hospital to cancel up to 3 times per contract with full hours paid in some instances.
