5 YearsDailey Caseload : 3Unit Information : Our nuclear medicine department averages 55 patients monthly. There is no call or weekends, but the technologist will be required to communicate with the inpatient floor and order the doses for after-hour inpatient add-ons for the next business day.
- Often : Cardiac SPECT, HIDA, Gastric Emptying, Bone Scan (Whole body / 3 Phase),Sometimes : Renal, V / Q, Breast Sentinel Node (radiologist injects), Thyroid Uptake and ScanRarely : GI Bleed, Infection WBC, Bone Marrow, MUGA, Lymphatic (Melanoma- radiologist injects), Liver / Spleen Job RequirementsCertification Requirements : BLS, NMTCB, IN License Required;
- CT Certification, ARRT Advanced Cert. PreferredNMTCB and ARRT certifications are equivalent, candidate must be board certified in nuclear medicineSkillset Requirements : Work Setting Experience- Outpatient, Inpatient Required;
