Senior Buyer

Our client in the DFW area is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their Procurement Team!

The Senior Buyer will have experience in the following.

Duties and responsibilities :

Process purchase requisitions and convert them to purchase orders for assigned regions

Handle STAT and other special-order types with urgency and accuracy

Review and correct improperly submitted requisitions

Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure order fulfillment

Prevent aging of open purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up
