ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - ED ER

Job Details :

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

Start date : ASAP

Required certifications : BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA, PALS from AHA, TNCC or ATCN

CPI or equivalent preferred

Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required

Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served

Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans within established timeframes

Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and intervention needs

Participate in patient health education and discharge planning

Perform various Point of Care testing procedures

Delegate unit work assignments and coordinate team assignments

Function as resource to visitors, physicians, and staff

Work in clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment

Must handle emergency / crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking

Requires heavy physical effort for patient positioning and equipment handling

Exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
