ABOUTTHE ROLE
Preparetax provisions schedules returns payments reports and maintain acompany’s taxdatabase.
WHATYOU WILL BEDOING
- Findtax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrecttaxfillings.
- Identifylegal tax savings and recommend ways to improveprofits.
- Makesure that clients comply with federal state and local taxregulations.
- Advisemanagement about the impact of tax liabilities and corporatestrategies or new taxlaws.
- Coordinateoutsources tax preparationwork.
- Accuratelyprepare quarterly and annual taxreports
- Keepup to date with tax changes and industry trends by participating ineducational opportunities participating in professionalorganizations keeping up with professional networks and readingprofessionalpublications.
WHATYOU NEED TOHAVE
- Atleast 5 years recent experience preparing individual trustpartnership and corporate taxreturns.
- Provenability to research complex tax issues and develop qualitypractical taxplanning.
- Effectivewritten and oral communicationskills
- Strongcomputer skills (solid working knowledge of CCH ProSystem tax andQuickBooks
- CPApreferred will considerEA.
