Weekend and Holidays - per the guidelines of the department.5C Medical Teaching Care team consisting of the Medical nursing staff, Hospitalists and specialized consultants.

We use your expertise in assessing a patient’s physical and emotional status, past health history, health practice, and both the patient’s and the family’s knowledge of their disease process and treatment.

As a medical nurse you will be engaging in a true relationship based care model, building relationships with patients and families as well as with your peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.

We will plan and execute your nursing care to promote patient wellness and comfort being involved in all aspects of care, managing a team of 5 medical / surgical patients per shift and work within the multidisciplinary medical team to achieve realist healthcare goals and educational needs for an individual and their family.

We closely monitor patients, manage emergencies and provide ongoing supportive care. After treatment and medical goal attainment, you will help to transition patients to the appropriate level of care.
