Valiant Integrated Services is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our professional team at Fort Johnson, LA providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP).
ATMP brings to bear the full capabilities of many of the world's best systems integration and engineering companies in the technical integration of live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training support.
ATMP operations support the installation and training mission to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States military for success on the 21st Century Battlefield.
Essential job functions include but are not limited to :
- Enter and submit entries in the Management Information System (MIS) for supplies, equipment and services required to support all TADSS.
- Oversees shipping, receiving, packaging, and storage of items in stock locations in accordance with Government and contract guidelines.
- Assist in providing oversight of all Government and contractor property, tools and test equipment.
- Perform inspections and accountability of all property.
- Work with minimal supervision, documenting inventory and shipment of property and work orders via local and web- based reporting system, providing system functional briefings to team, customer and management team.
- Perform logistic support requirements such as research, and equipment and spare part inventories.
- Provides logistics guidance and work leadership in accordance with contract requirements and work processes.
- Prepare reports as required.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Cross trained as needed

Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience commensurate to job position
- Must be proficient in the use of MS and MIS Applications
- Must be able to obtain / maintain an active / valid US Secret security clearance.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and Post driving privileges.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and be adaptable in a high paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Desired Qualifications :
- 10 years’ experience in logistical management or related field.
