The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing tactical and strategic HR support to the assigned business unit.
Acting as an HR Generalist, this role will advise and support the business unit on most matters affecting people recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, professional development, safety and labor law, and other relevant matters.
Responsibilities :
- Provide balanced, legal, respectful and culture appropriate HR recommendations
- Manage timely reporting, approvals, accuracy and policy adherence for weekly payroll
- Recruiting for all open positions and guides stakeholders through the recruiting life cycle
- Investigates, documents, and resolves employee relations issues
- Execute leaves of absence, FMLA and the short-term disability
- In partnership with Operations coordinates the execution of company events
- Conduct exit interviews, investigate issues as directed, and make recommendations to stakeholders
- Manages new hire orientation program and provides onboarding support
- Research and respond to requests for HR data
- Apply analytical skills to formulate data driven recommendations
- Develop and facilitate required and requested training initiatives
- Oversees leave of absence program administration to ensure accurate processing of payroll records and leave of absence tracking, and provides Team Member support
- Completes monthly HR metric reporting and consistently meets designated KPI’s
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business or related degree preferred.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, exhibit proficient Microsoft skills and HRIS systems.
- This position requires a minimum of seven (7-10) years of full-time HR Generalist, payroll and recruitment experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills required with strong attention to detail.
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, will be accepted.
- Multi- years’ experience and agility to flex and pivot in a distribution, logistics, fast-paced work environment.
- Well-developed knowledge of and experience in most HR disciplines
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Strong financial acumen
- High level of independent thinking and decision-making skills
- Understanding of how to mitigate and calculate risk
- Exhibits the highest level of respect and confidentiality in all interactions
- Ability to look at issues from a business and HR lens to recommend effective, lawful solutions
- Metrics-driven with strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of the principles of adult learning
- Capacity to organize priorities using sound judgment, professionalism, and malleability to meet constantly evolving deadlines and deliverables

Hours :
Monday through Friday, full-time with work hours designated by the Supervisor. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Overnight travel anticipated at 10% or less.
