Description
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Oncology Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our team at Medical City Dallas.
In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit / department during designated shifts.
As a member of the management team, you will be responsible for directing, monitoring, and evaluating nursing care, serving as a resource person for staff, and modeling a commitment to the organization's vision / mission / values.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care
- Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary
- Recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, and personnel policy compliance, to ensure a competitively better organization
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment
Requirements :
- Registered Nurse with current licensure
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support certifications
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Previous leadership experience
