AWS Commerce processes billion dollars of transactions per week, and highly-skilled knowledge workers from financial analysts to IT managers turn to us every day to understand their billing, invoice as well as forecast and optimize their spending.

We're looking for a customer-obsessed designer to map out a vision and strategy innovating and simplifying the overall AWS Customer billing experience for both direct AWS Customers and Channel Partners as well as lead the iterative delivery of design artifacts.

You will go deep in research and service design : understanding customer jobs-to-be-done, desired outcomes, and pain points, then rank desired outcomes and build to-be service maps that cross products to create a cohesive experience.

You'll collaborate closely with senior leaders to make strategic investments and drive execution that improves customers' desired outcomes.

As a Sr. UX Designer, you will own defining the customer experience for a collection of journeys with the highest potential ROI.

A successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, curious, creative, highly analytical and able to work autonomously to deliver results as part of a large cross-functional team.

We are looking for a designer who is a systems thinker and highly skilled at clarifying the big picture, driving alignment across a broad set of stakeholders while also highlighting the best point opportunities.

Key job responsibilities- Analyze customer problems, design customer journey flows and delightful solutions that deliver results.

  • Own and lead cross-functional design brainstorm and review meetings with Product, Tech, Science and business teams for input, alignment and sign-off on design deliverables.
  • Design customer journey flows and low, medium and high-fidelity wireframes and mockups.- Review and defend design recommendations to partners, stakeholders, and senior leadership for review, feedback, and approval.
  • Provide design assets to development teams for implementation.- Provide design clarification and consultation as needed to engineers when UX deliverables are being developed.
  • Measure the success and effectiveness of UX innovations.

Utility Computing (UC)AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations - from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry.

As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 6+ years of design experience- Have an available online portfolio- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design- Experience with UX design of complex workflows- Experience acquiring user data (e.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
