General Manager

JSC Systems, a leading low-voltage systems integration company, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our flagship branch location based in Jacksonville, FL.

You will be tasked with leading our installation and service operations in northeastern Florida and southeastern Georgia.

This is a hands-on position with P&L responsibility, and you will be responsible for all facets of the branch’s success including growing revenue, ensuring profitable project execution, providing excellent customer service, and managing inventory and costs.

You will lead a team within the branch, while being supported by one of the oldest and largest firms of our type in the United States.

Responsibilities of this role include :

• Providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to all branch employees
• Ensuring the profitability of branch operations by meeting revenue targets and controlling costs
• Providing accurate and timely forecasting information to management
• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction to drive repeat and referral business
• Recruiting the best and brightest new employees and subcontractors to ensure adequate operational capacity
• Communicating effectively with employees, management, and customers to ensure all stakeholders have the information necessary for successful project completion
• Being the face of our business by positively representing JSC to your customers, employees, and in the local business community

Candidates are required to have the following :

• Minimum of five years of experience leading and managing teams in a position with P&L responsibility
• At least five years management experience in low voltage contracting, electronics system integration, fire and life safety or a similar industry
• Significant project management experience in a commercial / industrial environment
• Intermediate to advance skill in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using accounting and project management software
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or a mix of education and significant industry experience in successfully performing a similar role at another company

Pay : $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
