About the Role
As a Business Manager, you will support the Senior Director of Segment Management in identifying, developing, and executing on key strategic programs that will maximize revenue within the segment.
Responsibilities
Developing and defining tactical sales plans for the segment and putting them into action by collaboratively working with a network of peers in a highly matrixed organization.
Overseeing metrics reporting for the segment. Develop new reporting and dashboards and help segment leadership team identify and quickly react to key business and market trends.
Gaining comparative insights, with data collection from the sales team and review of competitor’s go-to-market strategy.
Make recommendations on how we can win by assisting in pricing strategy development.
Conducting data analysis on product revenue trends and customer utilization to identify potential revenue risks.
Overseeing the segment's portfolio of sales tools to troubleshoot issues, encouraging broad adoption, and ensuring that the business generates returns on its technology investments.
Identifying and evaluating new sales tools that can be deployed across the segment to increase performance and efficiency.
Run pilots assess new technologies and oversee the rollout of sales tools that we decide to implement.
Requirements
Possess substantial related technical and professional experience. Possessing a master's in business administration is highly valued.
Be highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
Display technical and professional knowledge of LexisNexis products and services and the systems that support them
Demonstrate solid project management experience
Maintain working knowledge of partner organizations (Sales, Finance, Sales Operations, and Pricing)
Possess a keen interest in understanding business issues through detailed information analysis
