Key responsibilities
- Serve as a key support staff member during lunch, recess and afterschool hours
- Monitor incoming / outgoing traffic and interactions with a keen eye for potential issues in order to ensure the well-being of students, staff, and the sanctity of the educational environment
- Coordinate the efficient and safe movement of students during arrival and dismissal of lunch and recess hours
- Create a positive and welcoming environment to our students by ensuring lunch and recess spaces are clean and welcoming
- Support students’ behavior by enforcing school-wide rules to make sure the operations are running smoothly
- Use positive reinforcement at all times
- Occasionally act as a sub for afterschool activities or assist during homework help, as directed
Requirements
Must be a native French speaker
Benefits
- Monitor rate will be $23.50 per hour
- Homework help rate (after 3 : 30pm) would be $26.25 per hour
