About the Role

As a Preschool teacher at Stratford School, you're responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children between the ages of three and five.

You will provide a warm, caring, joyful environment that encourages preschoolers’ natural curiosity, and instills confidence in their innate abilities.

You will also

• Plan, supervise and implement curriculum
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
• Communicate daily with parents or guardians
• Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment

What We Are Looking For

• Must have completed 12 semesters or 18 quarter early childhood education units that should include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program / curriculum or a bachelor’s degree in child development
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior teaching experience with young students is required.
• The $3,000 sign-on bonus is eligible for the new hire for the DeMontfort Preschool Teacher position and will be paid after 90 days of completed employment.
