Introduction Surgery Ventures, powered by HCA Healthcare is hiring a Temporary PreOp PACU Nurse for a seasonal commitment to help meet staffing demands during our high-volume season. Our seasonal RN’s earn high pay rates and have priority over future FT / PT / PRN positions after the seasonal program ends. RN Seasonal Rate : $65.00 Schedule : Temporary (October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025) Seasonal Requirements : Current HCA / SVG employees are not eligible to transfer into the seasonal program All Seasonal Staff are required to work a minimum of 24 hours per week / 48 hours per pay period during the seasonal period to qualify Seasonal Staff may be asked to float to another center within the same division / market if emergent staffing needs exist Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off

• Schedules / shifts may vary based on center needs Job Summary And Qualifications As the Seasonal PreOp / PACU Nurse, you will contribute to the company’s mission and vision by utilizing the nursing process in planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care rendered preoperatively and postoperatively until your patient is dismissed from the facility. What you will do in this role : Prepare patient care area adequately before case and ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies Initiate intravenous therapy as prescribed, utilizing aseptic technique utilizing appropriate IV start kit, catheter and fluid Ensure that medication is labeled appropriately Administer pre-operative medications as prescribed and utilize safety medication practices Monitor your patient until he / she is transferred to the OR Recognize signs and symptoms of your patient’s condition that indicate potential post procedure or anesthesia related complications and report to the anesthesiologist immediately Monitor and maintain proper intravenous intake and output Document patient assessment upon admission Check dressings and / or operative site and report abnormalities to the surgeon Ensure your patients meet discharge criteria that patient meets all discharge criteria Qualifications you will need : Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required 1 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Preop, PACU, ICU or Surgery Active RN license as required by state of employment BCLS Certification upon employment. online certification not acceptable ACLS required within 30-days of hire PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire Comprehensive Digestive Surgery Center is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
