Job Description

As a Security Officer - Utilities Unarmed Patrol - PT in Fremont, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires you to navigate the premises, respond promptly to situations, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or conditions and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and / or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or concerns.
  • Adhere to all Allied Universal and client site policies and procedures while performing duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
