We are looking for a passionate full time Lead Therapist to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers. Applicants must be fully licensed to practice as either an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT and have experience working with adult and / or child and adolescent populations.
Integrated care team.
You will be part of a team of dedicated mental health providers who all work together as colleagues to focus on providing great care. As an IOP lead therapist, you will partner with the Provider so the full spectrum of psychiatric and therapeutic care is well coordinated. Together, moving patients up and down the care continuum, as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
Facilitate discharge planning and coordination of care with patients' outpatient providers and / or establish referral connections for continued care after discharge.
Provide clients with resources and referrals to support their ongoing recovery.
Engage in community outreach to promote the IOP program and build partnerships.
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
Facilitate skills, group process, family, and individual sessions as per program schedule requirements.
Create a treatment plan based on each client's needs.
Monitor client progress during treatment.
Complete utilization review calls with patients’ insurance companies for pre-certification and concurrent reviews.
Refer clients to specialists if necessary.
Help clients define goals, plan action, and gain insight.
Take a holistic (mind and body) approach to mental health care.
Diagnose and treat patients from diverse backgrounds in a respectful manner.
Document and navigate EHR independently and in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation.
Meet with assigned patients to introduce self, orient patient to therapist role, discuss group norms, and explain treatment goals and / or expectations.
Our IOP Lead Therapist role requires :
Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) in the state of Georgia
Experience in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
Strong clinical skills across both individual and group therapy settings
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Case management experience.
Experience conducting compressive assessments of clients and developing individualized treatment plans
Proficiency in using an EMR system and ensuring accurate and up to date electronic health records for all patient encounters
Desire and ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions. We believe everyone deserves access to care
