Contract Duration : 13 Weeks (11 / 04 / 2024 - 02 / 01 / 2025)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week

Pay Rate for Traveler's : Gross Weekly : $2800 / based on 36 hours

Breakdown :

Hourly : $77 / hour Taxable : $37 / hour on W2 + Non Taxable (Lodging & Meals) : $40 / hour

OT Rate : $55 / hour Job Summary :

Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY, is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in MedSurg / Telemetry for a 13-week contract.

The selected candidates will work in a 22-bed unit caring for a primarily geriatric population with acute infections, cardiac disease, renal failure, diabetes, and other conditions.

Candidates must be comfortable floating to similar units and may assist ICU or ED staff with Med / Surg level patients.

Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with medical and surgical needs, including acute infections, cardiac, and renal conditions.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, administer medications, and assist with daily patient care needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Float to similar MedSurg / Telemetry units as needed and assist ICU / ED staff with Med / Surg level patients.
• Maintain adherence to all hospital policies, procedures, and patient care standards.

Additional Information :

• Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week.
• On-Call : No on-call shifts required.
• Parking : Free parking is available for easy access to the hospital.
• Local Candidate Rule : No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.
• Compensation : Pricing negotiations permitted, with daily and weekly overtime rates applied based on multipliers.

Note : This is a travel nursing position, and local candidates will not be considered per the 50-mile radius rule.
