About The Position
Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician Job Specialty : Technician Job Duration : 7 days Shift : NOC 8 hours Guaranteed Hours : To be provided Experience : Minimum years of experience required to be provided License : License information to be provided Certifications : Certifications to be provided Must-Have : Must-have qualifications to be provided Job Description : Perform decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, and sterilization of all reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment.
- Maintain accurate sterilization records and inventory.- Ensure strict adherence to infection control practices and operating procedures to ensure a sterile processing environment.
- Inspect, test, and assemble instrument trays and equipment according to prescribed procedures and techniques.- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments and equipment.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in sterile processing.- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in sterile processing. Note : Please refer to internal resources or contact HR for detailed requirements and conditions associated with this position.
